HOW RESILIENT IS THE NETHERLANDS IN 2025?

Danielle in Het Financieele Dagblad: People determine your success

A newspaper on a windowsill displays an article titled "People determine your success," accompanied by a portrait of a smiling person. Next to it, a business card with the word "CHANGE POWER" emphasizes the power of transformation.

Research by McKinsey shows that 70% of failed change projects fail because of employee resistance. Investing in the power of spring and change appears to be the solution. But how do you achieve measurable success?

We spoke with Danielle Stiekema, CEO of Team Heartbeats. "Companies need to change faster than ever. We see this as the biggest challenge with our clients. Change takes time, energy and requires a hefty dose of resilience and power to change. As the leader of your organization, you know where you want to go, but success depends on how quickly the people within your organization can and want to move with you."

Investing in change power

"If people are the key, behavior change is the solution. Organizations that consciously invest in the change power of their employees achieve desired results faster and more efficiently. Such an investment leads not only to better performance, but also to employees who feel more energized and engaged with your organization."

Measurable results

Of course, "behavior change" is easy to say, but in practice, of course, it is not so simple. "Every change starts with defining the problem," Stiekema states. "Then we measure the current resilience within the organization. Based on these insights, we start interactive, energetic inspiration sessions. We activate the change process at three levels: the individual, the team and the organization. For this we use team training and coaching. We then measure again to determine whether the investment in time and money is effective and where adjustments are needed. Our strength is that we are able to bring large groups of people - at every layer - into behavior change."

Attention and impact

"For us, it's all about managing and influencing energy through behavioral awareness. Sincere attention can't be taught; it's who we are. You can, however, become aware of it. Clients call because they want to buy our "energy. In doing so, we don't shy away from depth."

Leading by example

"We live at Team Heartbeats what we accomplish for clients. The eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) of 9.2 indicates that our employees are extremely engaged and loyal. Our team is efficient with great mutual trust. Today, we only articulate our core values in our internal communications. The qualities that our customers name as our strongest
points correspond to our core values. Then we know it's right. We continuously measure our results and quality, scoring an average customer satisfaction rating of 8.6. We are quite proud of that, and especially of the people who make this possible."

Partner in resilience

"We are partners in change management. Let us do what we do best, then you can do what you do best. We ultimately make ourselves expendable so that your organization can excel independently in a constantly changing world."
