Another personality measurement, I have done this kind of measurement so many times. Comment that you could make? Then I challenge you to the ReflACT measurement.
Have you done the ReflACT measurement yet?
"How can you know so much about me, how can it be so accurate, after filling out a 10 min test with a few pictures and a few words." I get that comment almost every live or online feedback. Good question! This is possible because you are not only filling out the test from your ratio ( thinking) but also with your intuition and or feeling at the same time.
And then suddenly we come to a whole other layer... The nicest feedbacks, which for me is primarily a coaching conversation because I want to know who I'm facing and what from the test might provide additional insight in this, are the participants who have not chosen it themselves. Who are part of the ReflACT team session that is preceded by a 1-on-1 conversation with the result.
It's nothing scary, it doesn't expose anything you don't want, at most it gives you insight into what naturally energizes you and what costs you energy.
The first time I took this test, as a identical twin at the same time as Danielle Stiekema, it became especially clear to me how big our differences were. Suddenly everything fell into place. I am not better / less good at something than they are, I just deal differently with the information that comes at me. In my case, more sensitive to what is happening around me, rather than more rational.
The behavioral scientist in me obviously finds this mega interesting. Because what makes this measurement so different from the DISC, Management Drives or mbti (to name but a few)
What all these measurements have in common is that it is based on ratio. On how you think you are, the questions you answer, the control questions you are given ( and bypassed if you are a little smart)
What makes the ReflACT measurement different?
It works with pictures ( archetypes) and competencies. The competencies change over time and you choose them with your ratio. The archetypes you choose on intuition or feeling.
Most important here: What gives you energy and what costs you energy when you are under pressure.
That's where my curiosity lies. I am not interested in who you think you are or hope to be (this sounds very unkind, I don't mean it that way). Who I really hire, what qualities you have that you are not (yet) aware of, that you want to develop so that hopefully I can keep you with us as long as possible. What really excites you and makes you fly. And what I can expect and what happens when you, or all of us, come under pressure.
Because then it becomes really exciting. For then you no longer act according to who you think you are or want to be. Then you fall back on your basic attitude, which was already formed in childhood. That is not right or wrong, that is a given that you can work with and want to be aware of. What you and your colleagues want to become aware of.
So today I came into the office one asked a colleague after a few hours: Are you doing well today? The answer: No, not really. Had jaw surgery and recovery is a bit off. He's not just asking to be interested. He also recognizes that I am shorter, that I just want to make it clear what I think and cannot find the right words. You also 'feel' from me that things are not going so well. Not that I want to, you can see it.
Want to know more?
Would you like to know more about it? If so, I'd be happy to talk to you further about the ReflACT measurement. And if you know my profile, you know that this is because I sincerely want to connect with you, not to make a business deal. Other people are better at that 😉 I hope I get to know your profile soon.
